This machine is an automated edge-banding equipment designed for processing various types of board materials. With overall dimensions of 3500mm x 750mm x 1500mm and a weight of approximately 1000kg, it operates on a 380V/50Hz power supply with a total power consumption of 7kW. It handles board thicknesses from 10mm to 60mm and edge banding material thicknesses from 0.3mm to 3mm. The minimum board size it can process is 50mm (width) x 70mm (length). Featuring an adjustable conveyor system with speeds ranging from 18 to 24 m/min, the machine requires a working air pressure of 0.7MPa.
The machine integrates multiple process units—including end cutting, fine trimming, scraping, and buffing—into one complete system. Controlled by an intelligent automation system with an encoder, it ensures high-precision and efficient edge banding operations.
High Level of Process Integration
End Cutting: A single-guide rail system simultaneously trims the board edges at both ends.
Fine Trimming: A high-speed oblique cutting motor with an alloy blade ensures smooth and even trimming; operation is easily adjustable.
Scraping: Eliminates ripple marks from the trimming process, creating a smoother and neater finish on the top and bottom of the edge band.
Buffing: Polishes the edge banding section for an even smoother and more effective final appearance.
Intelligent Control System
Utilizes a standard PLC microcomputer control system based on time-control principles, ensuring great stability and safety.
An encoder controls all machine actions, providing sensitive response and a low failure rate.
Excellent Gluing Performance
The glue tank heats hot-melt adhesive and uses a spiral structure to apply glue evenly, guaranteeing strong and reliable adhesion.
