BHM388Y Automatic Edge Banding Machine

The BHM388Y industrial edge bander is a multi-station integrated woodworking machine built for medium-to-large furniture factories. It integrates 8 core working stations: pre-milling, spiral glue coating, end cutting, rough trimming, fine trimming, contour tracking, flat scraping and buffing, finishing, and complete edge sealing in one single pass without secondary manual touch-ups.

With a heavy-duty solid frame of 5000×750×1500mm and total weight up to 1500kg, the machine runs stably under long-hour continuous production. It supports 18–24m/min adjustable conveyor speed, covers panels 10–60mm thick and edge tapes 0.3–3mm thick, and handles mini workpieces with minimum 70mm length and 50mm width, compatible with MDF, plywood, solid wood, PVC and acrylic edge strips. Rated total power reaches 13.5kW with standard 380V/50Hz power supply and 0.7MPa stable working pressure.

Dual Trimming Units: Independent high-speed oblique motors complete rough and fine trimming sequentially to cut excess edging strips flatly.
Flat Scraping & Buffing: The scraper clears tiny uneven edges after trimming; two polishing wheels wipe off residual glue marks for smooth, flawless edge surfaces.

It adopts touch-screen PLC control system plus high-precision encoder to synchronize all mechanical actions and lower failure rates. Key core accessories adopt well-known brands: AirTAC cylinders, HIWIN linear guides, Schneider electrical components, Changchuan feed motors and Autonics proximity switches. The integrated timing control system optimizes running stability and operation safety.
