Forming Process: Cold Pressing

The S30408 material is suitable for cold pressing process, which can avoid the damage of high temperature to the low-temperature toughness of the material and completely retain the original ductility and weldability of the material. 12 sets of 1200-ton hydraulic presses are used for processing according to the 2:1 major-to-minor axis ratio specified in GB/T 25198 and ASME standards, ensuring uniform stress distribution of the ellipsoidal head under low-temperature pressure and meeting the long-term pressure-bearing requirements of cryogenic tankers.
