Manual Starters Overview
Manual starters are simple, user-operated devices featuring a button or rotary knob for equipment control. Starter Motor Operation
When activated (via button or key), an electrical signal is sent to the starter solenoid, which transfers power from the battery to the starter motor. This engages the starter drive (Bendix gear system) with the engine's flywheel, cranking the engine to initiate combustion. Once the engine runs independently, the starter disengages automatically.
