Hydraulic oil suction filter element is a primary protective barrier in the hydraulic system of construction machinery, installed at the oil suction port at the bottom of the oil tank. Its main function is to intercept large particles of impurities, rust residue, and gum sediment, preventing them from entering the hydraulic pump and causing wear or jamming. Its filtration accuracy, oil flow capacity, and sealing structure directly affect the hydraulic response stability and long-term operational reliability of the entire machine. If the filter element is not matched or frequently clogged, it may cause pressure fluctuations, delayed action, and even abnormal heating of the pump body - these hidden losses are often included in the equipment's full cycle use cost, indirectly affecting the comprehensive cost-effectiveness evaluation of construction machinery
Filtration accuracy: Oil suction filters usually adopt a coarse filtration design (with a filtration accuracy of generally 80-100 μ m), mainly intercepting large particle impurities (such as metal shavings, fibers, etc.) in the oil to prevent them from entering the oil pump and avoid pump body wear or jamming.
Low pressure design: Due to its installation at the oil pump suction port, the filter needs to withstand low pressure (generally<0.1MPa), so the structure is simple and the resistance is low, ensuring smooth oil suction of the oil pump.
Material selection: The filter material is usually metal mesh or coarse fiber, which is corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant, and suitable for different working conditions.
Working medium: Suitable for various hydraulic media such as mineral oil and biodegradable hydraulic oil.
Preventing cavitation: By coarse filtration, the bubbles and impurities in the oil are reduced, reducing the risk of cavitation in the oil pump.

According to the classification of filter materials, there are: oil filter paper: 10-50um, glass fiber: 1-70um, HV glass fiber: 3-40um, metal mesh: 3-500um, sintered felt: 5-70um, and line gap filter: 15-200um.
Q6: What brands of filter cartridges do you make?
Our factory produces alternative universal filter elements for foreign brands such as Pall, Hedek, Dasheng, Parker, and Rexroth, as well as national standard oil suction filter elements, oil return filter elements, high-pressure filter elements, and coalescence dehydration filter elements. We support non-standard customization. We welcome samples or drawings for processing and customization.
Q7: How can customers choose the appropriate filter size when making their own filters?
We need to provide the flow rate, pressure, external dimensions, accuracy, filter medium and other parameters of the filter designed by the customer. We will provide the customer with the selected filter element size and quantity based on the filter size.
Q8: Is there any difference between filtering kerosene, gasoline, diesel filters and general hydraulic oil filters?
The sealing materials used in the filter element are different. Generally, the sealing ring of hydraulic oil filter element is nitrile rubber, while filtering media such as kerosene, gasoline, and diesel requires the use of fluorine rubber rings.
