Liquid Release Agent SR-YGL
Technical Introduction
Release agent SR-YGL is a liquid film release agent that prevents the adhesion of unvulcanized rubber sheets and semi-finished parts, and also prevents vulcanized products from sticking together during pressureless vulcanization. SR-YGL overcomes the dust problems associated with some powdered release agents (such as talc) and prevents water pollution during steam vulcanization. In continuous production processes, rubber sheets dipped in SR-YGL are easier to feed onto rollers and require shorter vulcanization times compared to those dipped in soap solution. Release agent SR-YGL is composed of active agents and film-forming polymers, ensuring continuous film formation even in low-temperature, high-volume production.
A small amount of SR-YGL mixed into the rubber compound will not cause any processing problems and will not affect the physical and aging properties of the vulcanized product.
Dilution and Use:
The dilution ratio of SR-YGL with water is 1:2.5 to 1:10.
It is recommended to stir SR-YGL before use, or dilute the SR-YGL in the container with water to achieve uniform dispersion. When diluting with water, add water gradually until the required amount is reached.
Release agent SR-YGL is typically used in the cooling tank after the extrusion process of unvulcanized rubber. Before storing the rubber compound, the SR-YGL must have sufficient time to dry completely on the surface of the rubber sheet.
