NFPA 701 Curtain Fabric Film Flame Spread Combustion Tester
This equipment is primarily developed and manufactured according to the US NFPA 701 standard and is used to test the flame propagation performance of fabric and film materials. This standard specifies flame retardancy testing methods for window covering materials such as curtains, drapes, and door curtains, as well as similar products such as awnings, tents, tarpaulins, stage curtains, architectural fabric structures, and banners. It is widely used to evaluate the combustion characteristics and safety of decorative and functional textile products in open flame environments.
Testing Standards
NFPA 701: Standard Methods of Fire Tests for Flame Propagation of Textiles and Films Method 1: Applicable to single-layer or tightly combined multi-layer fabrics (such as curtains, draperies, tablecloths, etc.), requiring a surface area density of ≤700g/m², and testing flame propagation and afterburning time.
