The VW-1 Cable Horizontal and Vertical Burning Tester is a high-precision burning test device designed in strict accordance with the UL 2556-2013 standard. This equipment is specifically designed for VW-1 and FT-2 vertical burning tests in the wire and cable industry. Technical Specifications
Test Chamber: Constructed from steel plates with anti-static powder coating for attractive appearance and rust resistance. Features smoke exhaust system on top and two air inlets with pneumatic sealing devices on lower sides.
Observation & Lighting: Front observation window for easy test result monitoring. Internal lighting uses fog-proof and smoke-proof circular lamp.
Control System: 7″ color touchscreen and PLC control with time settings adjustable from 0~999S for burning, ignition, and afterburning.
Temperature Measurement: Thermal sensor uses high-conductivity electrolytic copper with imported φ0.5K type stainless steel thermocouple and portable intelligent temperature controller supporting readings above 1000℃.
Combustion System: Imported American Hamburger torch meeting ASTM D 5025-99 standards with 500W power and 20° angle.
Instrumentation: U-tube manometer (Dwyer, USA), high-precision flow meter (0.1～1.0L/min, Class 2 accuracy), and mini printer.
