PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

 

The ID426 Pipe Beveling Machine is a heavy-duty, ID-mounted tool designed for precision beveling and end preparation of large-diameter pipes ranging from 9.84" to 16.77" (Φ250–426 mm). Engineered for use in power generation, petrochemical, and heavy industrial sectors, the ID426 delivers high-performance cold cutting without heat-affected zones, ensuring consistent weld quality across critical joints.

 

Capable of performing a variety of machining operations—including V- and U-beveling, compound angles, counterboring, facing, and chamfering—the ID426 is suitable for carbon steel, stainless steel, and high-strength alloys. Its rugged body integrates a fast-setup, self-centering expanding mandrel system for secure and precise clamping inside the pipe bore.

 

To meet diverse job site conditions, the machine is available with either an electric or pneumatic drive, supporting both workshop operations and hazardous ATEX-classified field environments. Whether in fabrication yards or remote plant shutdowns, the ID426 provides reliable performance, repeatable accuracy, and operator-friendly handling.

This version is ideal for use in workshops, fabrication yards, and power generation facilities with reliable electrical infrastructure. It is particularly suitable for long-duration operations where high precision, repeatability, and operator comfort are critical. The electric drive system ensures quiet, clean operation with minimal maintenance requirements.

 

IDP426 – Pneumatic Motor Drive

The IDP426 pipe beveling machine is driven by a powerful 3.75 Hp (2.76 kW) pneumatic motor, requiring 2.8 m³/min @ 0.6 MPa of compressed air. Engineered for use in hazardous or explosion-prone environments, this air-powered option is ATEX-compliant and ideal for field machining in oil & gas, petrochemical, and offshore settings. Its lightweight structure and high cutting speed make it perfect for on-site applications where electric power is unavailable or restricted. The pneumatic configuration also reduces heat generation and enhances safety in flammable work areas.
