The Inergen gas fire suppression system utilizes IG541 mixture gas — composed of 52% nitrogen, 40% argon, and 8% carbon dioxide — a colorless, tasteless, non-toxic, and non-conducting pure "green" extinguishing agent. It leaves no residue or pollution after discharge, and its Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) is zero. This environmentally friendly gas is ideal for extinguishing fires, particularly in locations where electrical fires are likely to occur.

Combined with the extinguishing device and electronic accessories, the entire system can be actuated automatically. It monitors the protected area through detectors and activates the extinguishing device via a solenoid actuator, achieving full automation. This eliminates the risk of an unnoticed fire and reduces the cost of employing personnel to supervise the protected area.

The system also supports management of multiple zones through distributing valves. A single system can protect multiple zones, with the agent discharged precisely into the zone where a fire occurs. This ensures highly efficient fire suppression in a short time. Note that a small room should be reserved as storage space for the entire system.
