Fire gas cylinders are primarily designed to store heptafluoropropane (HFC-227ea / FM200), a clean gas chemical fire extinguishing agent that operates through both chemical and physical mechanisms. It is colorless, odorless, low-toxicity, non-conductive, and leaves no residue on protected objects, making it safe for property and precision equipment. The system reliably extinguishes Class B and C fires as well as electrical fires at low extinguishing concentrations. It requires minimal storage space, does not deplete the atmospheric ozone layer, and meets environmental protection requirements.

During long-term use, fire gas cylinders — such as heptafluoropropane systems, high-pressure CO₂ systems, IG541 systems, and IG100 systems — may develop wall thinning due to external corrosion. Internal moisture or impurities can also corrode the steel and cause cracking. Exposure to high heat raises internal pressure, creating a risk of rupture and explosion.

• Exterior rust reduces wall thickness, creating a risk of leakage and explosion. In severe cases, this may lead to casualties.
• Internal pressure drop results in insufficient discharge pressure, preventing the normal release of extinguishing agent and reducing firefighting efficiency.
• Corrosion and thinning of the inner wall can cause agent leakage, making normal fire extinguishing impossible. In severe cases, there is a risk of explosion.

1. Registration of gas cylinder numbers, marking and identification, condition inspection, and treatment of residual gases inside the cylinders.
2. Disassembly, inspection, and cleaning of the bottle head valve.
3. Rust removal treatment of the inner and outer surfaces, appearance inspection, and sound inspection.
4. Inspection of the bottle mouth thread.
5. Internal inspection of gas cylinders, weight and volume measurement, and liquid pressure resistance test.
6. Wall thickness measurement and strength verification, internal drying treatment of gas cylinders.
7. Maintenance and assembly of the bottle head valve.
8. Air tightness test and pressure resistance strength test.
9. Inspection and installation of bottle caps.
10. Spray painting, printing, fire inspection marks, and spray inspection color codes.
11. Issue inspection reports and store qualified gas cylinders in the warehouse.

Gas cylinders are carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery and handling. Packaging materials include heavy-duty cardboard boxes, foam packaging, protective foam, and instructions.
