FM200 (HFC-227ea) is a colorless, tasteless, non-corrosive, and electrically insulating extinguishing gas that leaves no residue or pollution after discharge. Its Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) is zero, making it an environmentally friendly extinguishing agent. These properties make it particularly suitable for protecting special locations where electrical fires are likely to occur.
FM200 hanging fire extinguishing equipment is available in two configurations: temperature induction and electromagnetic induction.
The ceiling-mounted FM200 automatic fire suppression system is mainly composed of a spherical pressure tank, fire extinguishing agent (HFC-227ea, same as FM200), hanging mounting, and a thermal sensor (a small glass tube filled with liquid whose volume changes with temperature). The complete composition of the whole system is shown below.

This fire extinguishing controller relies on the valve's temperature-controlled glass bulb to expand and rupture during a fire, achieving its extinguishing effect. At temperatures generally around 68°C, the bulb automatically ruptures and releases the fire extinguishing agent.
Electromagnetic control is primarily available in two modes: automatic and manual.
This fire extinguishing controller is equipped with both a smoke detector and a temperature-controlled heat detector. The controller features a control mode selector. When set to the "Automatic" position, the controller operates in automatic mode.
When the control mode selector on the controller is in the "Manual" position, the fire extinguishing controller is in manual control.
