DURA-POLISH is SHOFU's aluminum oxide pre-polishing paste, part of the Dura-Polish polishing paste system, and serves as the pre-polishing step before DURA-POLISH DIA high-gloss polishing paste.
The paste contains 73% by weight aluminum oxide particles combined with three different grits of white alumina, efficiently removing fine surface scratches and creating a uniform preparatory surface finish.
The paste adheres firmly without splattering and works with Robinson brushes or felt wheels, requiring only a small amount per session, and is the standard pre-polishing step before DURA-POLISH DIA high-gloss polishing.
Recommended for use with Robinson brushes or felt wheels at a maximum speed of 10000 rpm, it is suitable for extra-oral pre-polishing of alloys, composite resin, hard resin and denture base restorations in dental labs.
