1. Flexibility Classification
Very Flexible (Head L:0.17mm): Highest bendability for ultra-delicate marginal trimming, models FD2217, FD1917, FD2217B, FD2222B
Super Flexible (Head L:0.15/0.12mm): Balanced softness and structural strength for curved veneer surface shaping, models FD2215, FD1915, FD2212K, FD1912K, FD2212X, FD1912X
Standard Flexible (Head L:0.22/0.30mm): Stable rigidity for bulk excess material removal, models FD1922D, FD2222A, FD2230A, FD1922A, FD1930A, FD2222, FD2230, FD1922, FD1930
2. Grit Grade Color Coding
Yellow Mark: Extra-fine Grit (30μm) – ultra-smooth finishing, zero scratch for final veneer polishing
Red Mark: Fine Grit (45/50μm) – universal trimming for semi-finish separation and contour shaping
Blue Mark: Medium Grit (100μm) – fast stock removal for thick veneer excess cutting
3. Coating Type Options
Double Sided Full Coating: Diamond grit covers entire disc surface, bidirectional cutting efficiency for both sides of veneer
Double Sided 3mm Edge Coating: Diamond grit only on outer 3mm rim, safe for interproximal gap separation without scratching adjacent tooth structure
4. Disc Diameter Sizes
220 (22.0mm) large size for wide veneer surface processing
190 (19.0mm) compact size for narrow interproximal and anterior veneer fine adjustment
Diverse disc patterns (solid mesh, slotted saw-tooth, spiral vent, perforated hole) improve heat dissipation and chip evacuation during high-speed rotation. Standard matching mandrel shank fits all dental high-speed handpieces. OEM laser marking, custom mixed-size assortments and packaging are supported for global dental clinics and distributors.
