This stainless steel anti floating SBR decanter is purpose built for sludge dewatering systems and SBR process basins where floating sludge and scum must never enter the discharge. The decanter arm is held firmly in position by a heavy counterweight and guide rail assembly, preventing any upward drift even during violent aeration or high turbulence. Its adjustable weir allows operators to skim the clearest water layer, protecting downstream sludge dewatering equipment and improving overall plant efficiency.
Key FeaturesThe decanter rests at its standby position above the water surface during fill and aeration phases. When decanting begins, the drive unit lowers the arm until the adjustable weir submerges to the preset depth. Water flows gently over the weir and through the sealed discharge pipe, while the anti floating mechanism holds the assembly steady. The control system raises the arm automatically once the target level is reached, ready for the next cycle.
