The fully automatic SBR decanter is a precision effluent discharge device engineered for sequencing batch reactor wastewater treatment systems. It automatically removes clarified supernatant from the reactor tank while keeping the settled sludge bed completely undisturbed, delivering consistently high effluent quality with zero manual intervention. Built for round-the-clock municipal and industrial duty, this decanter combines a robust stainless steel structure with intelligent PLC control to guarantee reliable operation over decades of service.
Key FeaturesDuring the decant phase, the PLC activates the electric actuator, lowering the decanter arm smoothly into the tank until the weir reaches the preset water level. Clarified supernatant flows over the weir into the discharge pipe while floating scum remains trapped on the surface. When the level drops to the set point, the arm lifts automatically and the reactor advances to the next treatment phase, ensuring a complete, repeatable cycle every time.
