Working Principle
During the decant phase, the PLC activates the electric actuator, lowering the decanter arm smoothly into the tank until the weir reaches the preset water level. Clarified supernatant flows over the weir into the discharge pipe while floating scum remains trapped on the surface. When the level drops to the set point, the arm lifts automatically and the reactor advances to the next treatment phase, ensuring a complete, repeatable cycle every time.
