PC plastic particles (polycarbonate) are a high-performance engineering plastic with impressive physical properties. They boast high transparency, with a light transmittance of 90%. Additionally, they exhibit high strength and high impact resistance, with a notch impact strength ranging from 600-900J/m. The plastic also offers heat resistance, with a thermal deformation temperature falling between 130-140 ℃, as well as low temperature resistance from -40 ℃ to +135 ℃. Moreover, PC showcases chemical stability by being resistant to weak acids, weak bases, and neutral oils, though it is not resistant to strong bases and ultraviolet light.
PC is classified as a non-crystalline thermoplastic which necessitates preheating and drying before processing. It can be conveniently shaped through injection molding or extrusion molding techniques.
