Product description:
UV greenhouse film, also known as UV-resistant weather-resistant greenhouse film, is an agricultural greenhouse film made with LDPE/metallocene PE/EVA as the base material and incorporating HALS hindered amine long-lasting light stabilizers and UV absorber functional masterbatches during production.
Sunlight's 280–380nm ultraviolet rays can break down the molecular chains of plastics, causing ordinary greenhouse films to yellow, become brittle, and crack in a short period. UV stabilizers absorb and neutralize ultraviolet energy, blocking photo-oxidative aging reactions, while filtering out the harmful UV-B wavelengths that scorch crops, and retaining the visible light and beneficial UV-A wavelengths needed for crop photosynthesis.

Advantages:
1. Significantly Extended Service Life.
Ordinary non-UV greenhouse films age and break down in only 6–12 months outdoors; standard UV films have a service life of 2–5 years, while thicker, high-UV-added films can last 5–10 years.
They do not yellow under prolonged sun exposure, have slow light decay due to their opacity, and are wind-resistant, tear-resistant, and resistant to high and low temperatures, pesticides, and acid/alkali corrosion.
High-UV-added films are specially formulated for equatorial, high-altitude, and tropical regions with strong sunlight, suitable for extreme climates with strong sunlight.
2. Crop Protection: Increased yield and quality, reduced disease.
Prevents Leaf Burn: Blocks over 90% of harmful UV-B, preventing sunburn and scorching of fruit and flower leaves.
Inhibits Fungal Diseases: UV rays can induce downy mildew and powdery mildew spore germination; UV blocking reduces disease incidence and lowers pesticide usage.
Even Light Distribution: Combined with a diffused light formula, it eliminates strong light spots inside the greenhouse, ensuring uniform growth of crops across the plant layers and increasing fruit set by 10%–15%. 3. Lower overall operating costs.
Replacing greenhouse film incurs high labor and material costs, and the extended replacement cycle of UV film reduces overall procurement costs over the long term; it is compatible with anti-drip, heat preservation, and light conversion composite functions, making it a multi-purpose film.
