This HANSEN P80 plasma electrode and nozzle set is a core replaceable consumable built for air plasma cutting torches. It is engineered with nickel-plated copper body and embedded high-purity hafnium wire. Hafnium boasts outstanding electron emission capacity and ultra-high thermal resistance, which keeps the plasma arc consistent and stable under repeated high-temperature discharge.
The precisely machined nozzle cavity compresses plasma airflow tightly, concentrating the energy stream and delivering neat cutting edges with minimal dross. Nickel plating improves surface hardness, reduces spatter adhesion and slows oxidation during long working cycles.
This consumable pair fits handheld P80 plasma torches and matches LGK80, LGK100 air plasma cutting machines. It handles all conductive ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including mild steel, stainless steel, galvanized sheet, aluminum and copper plates.
Common Usage Scenarios
Metal fabrication workshops, structural steel processing and metal frame manufacturing
Auto repair, chassis cutting and scrap metal dismantling work
CNC plasma cutting tables for sheet metal profiling
Shipyard, pipeline and engineering site on-site cutting jobs
Sign making, decorative metal processing and cabinet production
Practical Guidance
Select the correct bore size according to your cutting current and plate thickness before installation.
Wipe the torch interior, electrode and nozzle contact surfaces thoroughly to remove oxide and metal debris.
Fit the electrode first, then screw on the nozzle gently. Overtightening will warp the fitting surface and ruin gas flow.
Ensure the compressed air is dry and pressure stays stable. Moist air will accelerate hafnium wire erosion and shorten service life.
Stop cutting and swap the kit promptly if you spot flickering arc, rough kerf or obvious wear on the hafnium tip.
Keep spare electrodes and nozzles sealed in dry packaging to avoid surface contamination and scratches.
