Product Overview
This series of Incoloy 825 forged rings are produced by open-die hammer forging and radial-axial seamless ring rolling processes. After full solution annealing and stress relief heat treatment, the ring obtains continuous compact grain flow without internal forging defects, ensuring uniform mechanical and anti-corrosion performance across the whole blank.
Incoloy 825 is versatile Fe-Ni base alloy integrated with molybdenum, copper and titanium elements. It fills the performance gap between ordinary 316L stainless steel and high-cost Hastelloy alloys. It works stably in oxidizing nitric acid and reducing sulfuric acid simultaneously, and shows reliable anti-sulfide stress cracking capacity for oil & gas sour service. Forged ring blanks are widely machined into flanges, tube sheets, sealing support rings and pressure vessel internal components for chemical, power FGD, marine desalination and nuclear industries.
Material Grade Characteristics – Incoloy 825 (UNS N08825 / 2.4858)
Nickel-iron-chromium alloy added with Mo, Cu and Ti composite anti-corrosion elements
Simultaneously stable in nitric acid (oxidizing) and sulfuric/phosphoric acid (reducing), fills the material gap between stainless steel and expensive Hastelloy grades.
2. Titanium Stabilized Weld Performance
Titanium addition restricts carbide segregation; welded forged rings keep full anti-corrosion capacity without post heat treatment.
3. Excellent Chloride & SSC Resistance
High nickel content effectively resists pitting and sulfide stress cracking, certified for offshore and sour oil & gas working media.
4. Continuous Forged Grain Flow
Ring rolling & heavy reduction forging forms uninterrupted metal fiber, greatly improves fatigue and pressure bearing capacity of ring blanks.
5. Wide Medium Adaptability & Long Service Life
Suitable for mixed acid, flue gas, seawater and nuclear waste treatment equipment, reduces equipment replacement frequency and maintenance cost.
