This series of Monel K500 forged rings are produced by open-die forging and seamless radial ring rolling process. Two standard delivery states are available: soft solution annealed blank for customer self-machining + aging, or fully heat-treated aged high-strength finished ring.
Monel K500 inherits the full anti-corrosion advantages of Monel 400 against hydrofluoric acid and seawater, while aluminum and titanium elements enable precipitation hardening to double mechanical strength after low-temperature aging. It maintains low magnetism and good low-temperature toughness. Forged ring blanks are widely processed into marine pump flange rings, oilfield drill collar segments, HF equipment sealing rings and high-pressure valve annular parts for marine, fluorochemical and petroleum industries.

Can reach yield strength over 790 MPa after standard aging heat treatment
Nearly non-magnetic under normal service temperature, only slightly magnetic after aging
Excellent anti-sulfide performance for H₂S containing oil & gas sour well environments
Good hot forging, cold machinability in solution annealed state; weldable with matched filler metal
