The Carpet Probe is a practical gas sampling accessory designed for gas leak surveys using the aspiration method. It is mainly used for the inspection of buried pipelines and pipe runs, allowing trace gas sampling directly from ground surfaces such as carpets, pavements, and uneven streets.
Made of lightweight aviation aluminum, the probe is easy to guide and push along the ground during survey work. The integrated surface filter and hose filter effectively reduce the ingress of interfering gases, such as vehicle exhaust fumes, ensuring more reliable gas trace detection results.
Equipped with a hose and plug-in coupling, the carpet probe can be easily connected to portable gas detectors and analyzers. Its structure is optimized to adapt to surface unevenness, improving sampling efficiency and accuracy during mains gas surveys and pipeline inspections.
