    To ensure the optimal high-frequency response of the HALA1o00503R and prevent stray parasitics or signaldegradation, Vibratac's engineering team recommends adhering to the following strict mounting andassembly guidelines:

 

5.1 Orientation & Spatial Alignment
     The coil body of the HALA1o00503R must be mounted strictly perpendicular to the microstrip RF signaltransmission line. Placing the coil parallel to the trace creates unwanted electromagnetic coupling andparasitic mutual inductance, which can compromise signal integrity and distort S-parameters

 

5.2 Lead Length Optimization
      The connecting leads from the coil to the transmission line trace must be kept as short as physicallypossible. Excess lead length introduces stray inductive paths, lowering the self-resonant frequency (SRF)and shifting the operating band of your matching network or bias tee.

 

5.3 Micro-Soldering Protocol
       The HALA1000503R is designed for high-precision micro-soldering and wire bonding.
       •Solder Alloy: Use low-temperature tin-lead (Sn63/Pb37) or lead-free (SAC305) solder paste.
       •Temperature Profile: The soldering iron tip or hot-air nozzle temperature must be carefully controlled,not exceeding 260°C for a maximum duration of 3 seconds. Overheating will melt or damage the ultra-thin 0.05 mm enameled insulation on the coil.
