The SL-4M L12.728 is a semi-finished carbide preform made from virgin YG8 tungsten carbide with a silver-brazed construction. Virgin material means it is produced from new, unrecycled raw materials, ensuring consistent quality, uniform grain structure, and reliable performance during custom grinding and final use.

YG8 contains 8% cobalt, offering good toughness and wear resistance for general-purpose rotary burrs. The silver brazing process securely joins the carbide tip to the steel shank, creating a strong and durable bond that withstands the stresses of tooth grinding and everyday operation.
