Manufacturing Process
Our bipolar plates are produced through a highly controlled chemical etching process, leveraging our expertise in photochemical machining. This subtractive manufacturing technique involves cleaning the metal substrate, applying a photoresist, exposing it to UV light through a precision photomask to define the flow field pattern, developing the resist, and then etching the exposed areas with specialized chemicals. This is followed by thorough cleaning, stripping of remaining resist, and final inspection.
