The HCPL-4200 is an optically coupled 20 mA current loop receiver designed for robust data communication in industrial and computer peripheral applications. It effectively breaks ground loops and provides high common mode rejection, ensuring reliable signal transmission. The device features guaranteed on/off thresholds, input threshold hysteresis for increased noise immunity, and a three-state output compatible with data buses. Its LED is protected from excess current, and it offers compatibility with LSTTL, TTL, and CMOS logic levels.
