The Broadcom ACPL-2x7 series comprises DC-input, multi-channel, half-pitch phototransistor optocouplers designed for reliable signal isolation. The ACPL-227 features a dual-channel configuration in an 8-pin SO package, while the ACPL-247 offers a quad-channel configuration in a 16-pin SO package. Both devices provide high input-output isolation voltage of 3750VRMS, a typical response time of 2 s, and a minimum Current Transfer Ratio (CTR) of 50 percent at 5 mA input current. They are suitable for applications such as I/O interfaces for programmable controllers and computers, sequence controllers, system appliances, measuring instruments, and signal transmission between circuits of different potentials and impedances.
