The Broadcom QCFJ-3439T is a 17A peak smart gate drive optocoupler designed for driving IGBT or MOSFET directly in motor-control and inverter applications. It features high peak output current, a wide operating voltage range, fast propagation delay, and excellent timing skew performance. The device offers integrated IGBT/MOSFET desaturation protection and functional safety reporting, including fault feedback for desaturation, gate status, and UVLO status. Its compact, surface-mountable SO-24 package with 0.8-mm pitch makes it suitable for space-constrained HEV and EV applications. Broadcom R2Coupler isolation products provide reinforced insulation and reliability for critical signal isolation in automotive and high-temperature industrial environments.
