The Broadcom ACPL-217 is a single-channel, half-pitch phototransistor optocoupler designed for efficient DC input signal isolation. It features a light-emitting diode optically coupled to a phototransistor within a compact 4-pin SO package. This optocoupler offers high input-output isolation voltage of 3750VRMS, a typical response time of 2 s, and a minimum Current Transfer Ratio (CTR) of 50% at 5 mA input current. Ideal for I/O interfaces in programmable controllers, sequence controllers, system appliances, and measuring instruments, it facilitates signal transmission between circuits with different potentials and impedances.
