The ECST1V0504 is an SMT current sense transformer designed for various power electronics applications. It features a compact EE4.4 SMT package, very low DC resistance, and a wide selection of turns ratios. This transformer is rated for a sensed primary current of 7 A and operates within a frequency range of 50 kHz to 1 MHz. Its applications include switching power supplies, feedback control, overload sensing, and load drop/shut down detection. The device is compliant with J-STD-020 for solder reflow temperature and operates in a wide temperature range of -40 C to +125 C.
