Steel Mesh Reinforced Polyethylene (SRTP) Composite Pipe is a high-performance, next-generation piping system engineered for high-pressure and heavy-duty industrial and municipal applications. By combining the high strength of steel with the exceptional corrosion resistance of high-density plastics, SRTP pipe overcomes the limitations of both traditional steel pipes and pure plastic pipes.
It features a unique composite structure: a high-strength perforated steel strip mesh is wrapped helically as the core reinforcement skeleton, seamlessly integrated with inner and outer layers of polyethylene (PE/HDPE or heat-resistant PE-RT) through a continuous one-step extrusion process.
Applications
Municipal Engineering: High-pressure water supply for urban buildings, potable (drinking) water networks, fire sprinkler systems, heating network return water, natural gas distribution, and buried drainage pipelines for highways and expressways.
Oil & Gas Fields: Transportation of oily wastewater, gas field produced water, oil-gas mixtures, and specialized piping for secondary and tertiary oil recovery (Enhanced Oil Recovery - EOR) and gathering/transmission processes.
Chemical Industry: Process and discharge piping for the manufacturing of acids, alkalis, and salts; also widely used in petroleum, chemical processing, fertilizer production, textiles, printing and dyeing, rubber, and plastics industries to safely transport corrosive gases, liquids, and solid powders.
Water Conservancy & Power Engineering: Pipelines for industrial process water, return water, bulk water supply, firefighting networks, dust suppression systems, and thermal power waste residue slurry disposal.
