Submersible Wastewater Pump Introduction
Submersible sewage pump is a kind of non-clogging pump, which has many forms: submersible and dry. The most commonly used submersible type is the submersible sewage pump, and the most common dry sewage pumps are horizontal sewage pumps and vertical sewage pumps.
Submersible Wastewater Pump advantages
The impeller structure is divided into four categories: blade type (open type, closed type), swirl type, channel type, (including single channel and double channel) spiral centrifugal type.
In terms of performance, the pump has a steep head curve and a relatively flat power curve.
The most common pressure chamber used in sewage pumps is the volute, and radial guide vanes or channel guide vanes are mostly used in built-in submersible pumps. There are three types of volutes: spiral, annular and intermediate. Spiral volutes are basically not used in sewage pumps. The annular pressure chamber is more commonly used in small sewage pumps due to its simple structure and convenient manufacturing. However, due to the emergence of intermediate (semi-spiral) pressure chambers, the application range of annular pressure chambers has gradually become smaller. Because the intermediate pressure chamber has both the high efficiency of the spiral and the high permeability of the annular pressure chamber.
Application scope
Mainly used for conveying urban sewage, feces or liquid containing fibers, paper scraps and other solid particles. The temperature of the conveyed medium is usually not more than 80℃.
