Product Description
The Merak-03 FOG INS is a high-precision fiber-optic inertial navigation system designed for maritime environments.
It integrates fiber-optic gyroscopes (FOG) with quartz accelerometers, utilizing strapdown inertial navigation technology combined with advanced real-time computational algorithms to deliver accurate navigation parameters.
The system supports both inertial/GNSS integrated navigation and pure inertial modes, ensuring reliable performance across multiple maritime operational profiles. It provides real-time outputs for heading, roll, pitch, velocity, and position, enabling stable and continuous navigation data even in environments where GNSS signals are intermittent or degraded.
Advantages
✓ High Precision Fiber-Optic Gyro Architecture
Ensures excellent bias stability and long-term drift performance for maritime navigation.
✓ Dual-Mode Navigation Capability
Supports GNSS-aided fusion and standalone inertial navigation for mission flexibility.
✓ Real-Time Marine Attitude & Position Output
Provides continuous heading, roll, pitch, velocity, and position data.
✓ Resilient in GNSS-Challenged Environments
Maintains navigation continuity during signal blockage, jamming, or multipath interference.
✓ Strapdown Design with Compact Form Factor
Integrates directly onto the platform without complex mechanical stabilization systems.
✓ Enhanced Computational Algorithms
High-speed onboard processing ensures reliable and low-latency outputs.
Application
Suitable for a wide range of maritime platforms and navigation tasks:
✔ Surface Vessels
✔ Patrol Boats
✔ Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USV)
✔ Autonomous Marine Navigation
✔ Hydrographic Surveying Platforms
✔ Maritime Positioning & Heading Systems
✔ Oceanographic Research Vessels
✔ GNSS-Limited Coastal or Port Operations
