Product Description
This product is mainly used for fixing insulation cotton in ship cargo holds, engine rooms, living areas and other areas. When installing, it is necessary to first drill holes in the ship's steel plate, insert the collision nails into the holes, and then fix them by welding with an electric welding machine to ensure that the nail body is fused with the steel plate; Then put the insulation cotton into the nail body and press the locking plate to complete the initial fixation; Finally, install the fixed cap and adjust it to a horizontal position. During operation, attention should be paid to controlling the welding temperature (to avoid damaging the insulation cotton), tightening the locking plate (to prevent the insulation cotton from shifting), and sealing the fixing cap (to prevent water vapor from penetrating).
Compared to traditional riveting or adhesive methods, the welding process of copper plated rivets increases the fixing strength by more than 30% and can withstand vibrations and impacts during ship navigation; The copper coating provides 5 times the corrosion resistance of ordinary iron nails and has a service life of over 10 years in marine environments; Modular design supports separate replacement of nail bodies, locking plates, and fixing caps, reducing maintenance costs. In addition, its lightweight design of 2kg (single piece weight) facilitates high-altitude operations, and its annual output of 900000 pieces can meet the bulk demand of large shipyards.
Product Features
Common materials include low-carbon steel (such as Q195) and aluminum alloy, among which aluminum studs are lighter in weight and have better corrosion resistance than stainless steel, making them suitable for aluminum structures in ships.
Surface treatment is mostly copper plating or zinc plating. Copper plating technology improves conductivity and welding firmness, and its anti-corrosion performance is better than ordinary galvanized steel nails.
The length can be extended up to 150 millimeters, and with the use of specialized glue and general cap accessories, it can compress insulation materials (such as rock wool) and prevent loosening.
