The LTM8020IV#PBF is a 200mA, 36V DC/DC μModule® regulator from Analog Devices (formerly Linear Technology).
It's a fully integrated step-down (buck) converter solution that combines the controller, power switches, inductor, and supporting components into a compact, surface-mount package. This design simplifies board layout and reduces design time, making it ideal for space-constrained applications.
The LTM8020IV#PBF is designed for a variety of applications requiring a compact, reliable, and easy-to-use DC/DC power solution:
Industrial Automation & Control Systems:
Used for Point-of-Load (PoL) regulation for sensors, controllers, and I/O modules due to its wide input range (4V to 36V) and robust performance in industrial environments (-40°C to +85°C).
Telecommunications & Networking Equipment:
Provides regulated power for low-current loads within communication infrastructure devices, benefiting from its wide input voltage capability.
Distributed Power Architectures:
Ideal for converting intermediate bus voltages (e.g., 12V or 24V) to lower voltages required by FPGAs, or microprocessors (1.25V to 5V).
