Product Overview
The Cylinder Liner with OEM reference number 11461-17010 is a verified direct-fit replacement for the Toyota 1HZ 4.2L naturally aspirated diesel engine. This dry cylinder sleeve is a critical component of the engine block, providing a durable, wear-resistant surface for the piston rings to seal against, ensuring optimal compression and engine performance.
Important: This cylinder liner fits all Toyota 1HZ engine variants. It is available as a semi-finished (93mm bore) component requiring final machining to 94mm after installation, or as a full-finished (94mm bore) component ready for installation. The cylinder liner is a dry type sleeve and is not in direct contact with coolant.

Installation & Maintenance
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Cylinder liner installation requires specialized equipment and mechanical competence. Professional machine shop installation is strongly recommended.
Installation Guidelines:
Ensure the engine block is clean and free of debris
Remove the old cylinder liner using appropriate extraction tools
Thoroughly clean the liner bore in the engine block
Measure the block bore to ensure proper interference fit
Inspect the engine block for cracks or damage
Press the new liner into the block using proper tooling
Machine and hone the liner to finished bore size (if semi-finished)
Plateau hone the finished bore for correct surface finish
Clean the finished bore thoroughly before assembly
Install new pistons and rings following manufacturer specifiions
