The N04C-TK is a 4.0L inline-four turbo-diesel engine producing approximately 140-180 horsepower and 420 Nm of torque. The turbocharger is driven by exhaust gases from the engine, spinning a turbine wheel that drives a compressor wheel to force more air into the combustion chambers. This increases volumetric efficiency, allowing more fuel to be burned and producing significantly more power and torque than a naturally aspirated engine of the same displacement.
