This is 3-ply continuous pin-feed carbonless NCR paper form, featuring top-sheet self-color-developing (self-imaging) technology, designed for POS credit card transaction slips, merchant receipt documents.
With self-color-developing top sheet, pressure from handwriting or dot-matrix printing creates legible marks directly on page one, together with sharp duplicates on the 2nd & 3rd copies.
Key Features
1. Top-sheet self-imaging (front sheet develops color directly)
Unlike conventional NCR sets that require a CB back-coated top sheet to transfer image only to the underlying sheets, this special formulation enables color development right on the first page when pressure is applied by dot-matrix printer or manual handwriting. Clear copy appears on the 2nd and 3rd copies simultaneously. No carbon ribbon is needed.
2. 3 part multi-copy set
1st copy: Merchant / Original copy (self-imaging top sheet)
2nd copy: Bank / File copy
3rd copy: Cardholder / Customer copy Distinct paper base colors (light blue, yellow, white) for easy copy separation.
3. Continuous pin-feed perforated format
Pre-punched sprocket holes along both side margins, perfectly compatible with dot-matrix impact printers. Perforation lines allow easy sheet separation after printing. Pre-printed static text & signature block for POS credit card transaction records.
4. Carbon-free NCR paper
Chemical-based pressure-sensitive carbonless paper, no messy carbon dust. Handwriting or printed marks transfer crisply across all three copies, good for archiving.
