Electric Chain Hoist Brief Description

1. Core advantages: light, efficient & compact structure

Small size and light weight: Compared with the same tonnage wire rope electric hoist, the overall structure of the chain hoist (especially the drum part) is more compact and light, taking up less space, and is particularly suitable for use on space-constrained or light I-beams.

Light weight: The hoist itself is relatively light, and the load requirements for the supporting structure (such as I-beams, gantry frames) are low, and the installation is more flexible and economical.

Smooth operation and precise positioning: The chain runs smoothly with little jitter. With the precision limit switch, it can achieve millimeter-level precise positioning, which is suitable for occasions requiring delicate operations (such as equipment installation, assembly lines).

2. Core components: high-strength lifting chain

High-strength alloy steel chain: Made of high-strength and high-toughness alloy steel, it has excellent wear resistance, impact resistance and fatigue resistance after strict heat treatment.

Wear-resistant and durable: The chain itself has good wear resistance and long service life. Even if the surface is worn, its load-bearing capacity decreases relatively slowly (unlike the sudden breakage of the wire rope), which is safer.

Not easy to knot/tangle: Compared with wire rope, the chain is not easy to knot, tangle or loose strands, and the operation is simpler and more reliable.

Simple maintenance: The chain generally only needs to be lubricated regularly, and the maintenance is simpler than the wire rope (no need to worry about broken wires, deformation and other problems).

3. Drive and control: Electric and convenient

Motor drive: Powered by a high-performance (usually squirrel cage induction) motor, it improves efficiency and reduces the labor intensity of workers.

Standard power supply: Usually single-phase 220V or three-phase 380V AC power supply is used, which is convenient for access to ordinary industrial electricity.

Easy operation: The standard flashlight door (hanging button box) is intuitive and convenient to operate, and can realize the control of the up, down, left and right (if equipped with a running trolley) directions. There are usually different speed gears (such as normal speed, slow speed/micro speed).

Integrated running trolley: 1 ton chain hoist is usually used with a hand trolley, hand chain trolley or electric trolley, which is convenient for horizontal movement on the I-beam track and expands the working range. The electric trolley can realize remote control or wire control travel.
