Product Overview
The TP655 Petroleum Density Tester accurately measures density of transparent, low-viscosity liquids and is also suitable for viscous liquids. Widely used in petroleum, chemical, and power industries, research institutes, and laboratory testing departments.
Based on GB/T 1884-2000 standard testing conditions, the instrument uses a constant-temperature water bath system to maintain samples at required temperature, ensuring accurate density measurement results.
Measurement Principle
The TP655 operates using the hydrometer measurement method specified in GB/T 1884-2000. Samples are placed in density cylinders and heated in a controlled water bath to the required test temperature. After thermal equilibrium, a petroleum hydrometer is inserted and density values are read from the hydrometer scale along with sample temperature.
