The High-Efficiency Sedimentation Tank represents next-generation advanced sedimentation technology that seamlessly integrates mud-water separation and sludge thickening. Developed through scientific hydraulic and structural design principles, this equipment utilizes theories of sludge coagulation, circulation, inclined tube separation, and thickening to deliver exceptional performance.
The tank is precisely engineered with four distinct sections: coagulation zone, flocculation zone, pre-sedimentation zone, and inclined plate (tube) sedimentation zone. Raw water undergoes rapid coagulation followed by slow flocculation to form large, dense flocs, which are then efficiently separated in the pre-sedimentation and inclined tube zones. The result is high-quality clear water collected and discharged through the top collection trough.
Integrated Mud-Water Thickening and Separation: Combines mud-water separation and sludge thickening into a single structure, significantly improving treatment efficiency while drastically reducing footprint requirements.
Series Reaction & Endogenous Draft Design: Features a slow-speed mixing zone and plug-flow reaction zone connected in series. Internal draft tube mixes raw water, returned sludge, and coagulant aid from bottom up, ensuring flocs grow large and dense for easy settling.
Precise Hydraulic Velocity Control: Maintains strict hydraulic limits to protect fragile flocs. Transfer velocity from reaction tank to pre-sedimentation zone is limited to below 0.056 m/s, preventing alum floc breakage during transit.
High-Efficiency Interception & Active Sludge Return: Utilizes 60° shallow-pool inclined tube design to capture micro-flocs with high efficiency. Critical sludge return mechanism (3%~15% return ratio) allows active sludge to contact and adsorb raw suspended solids, boosting separation performance.

Will the large flocs formed in the reaction tank break apart when flowing into the sedimentation zone?
No, they will not break. The equipment maintains extremely high standards for hydraulic flow control. The transfer speed of the mixture flowing from the reaction zone into the pre-sedimentation area is strictly capped at less than 0.056 meters per second. This exceptionally gentle plug-flow guarantees that dense alum flocs enter the sedimentation zone completely intact.
Will the inclined tube sedimentation zone accumulate sludge and clog after prolonged use?
