The integrated magnetic coagulation sedimentation system, also known as a magnetic coagulation unit, magnetic coagulation clarifier, or integrated magnetic clarification system, is a high-efficiency wastewater treatment system combining magnetic-powder dosing, coagulation and flocculation, and solid-liquid separation in a single unit.
The process uses the ability of magnetic powder to bind with pollutants and enhance floc formation. Wastewater is first mixed with magnetic powder and coagulants to form dense magnetic flocs. These flocs settle rapidly in the sedimentation zone, achieving efficient separation of sludge from water.
The settled sludge is then processed through a magnetic-powder recovery system. The recovered magnetic powder is returned to the treatment process for reuse, while the remaining excess sludge is discharged for further treatment.
The integrated magnetic coagulation sedimentation system operates on the principle of magnetically enhanced coagulation and sedimentation.
During coagulation, magnetic powder acts as a ballast or seed material, working with coagulant and flocculant aid to accelerate floc formation and increase floc density.
During sedimentation, dense magnetic flocs settle rapidly under gravity, significantly improving solid-liquid separation efficiency.
In the magnetic separation stage, a high-intensity magnetic field separates magnetic powder from sludge. Recovered magnetic powder is returned to the treatment process for reuse, reducing operating costs.

Actual operating parameters should be determined according to wastewater characteristics, required effluent quality, chemical-dosing conditions, and project-specific design requirements.
Determine required treatment capacity and process parameters according to:
For wastewater with high total phosphorus concentration, particular attention should be given to phosphorus-removal capacity and required chemical-dosing conditions.
Priority should be given to suppliers with extensive project experience, strong market reputation, and professional technical teams.
Review:
Where necessary, conduct on-site inspections of supplier's manufacturing facility and reference projects.
Evaluate equipment from different suppliers comprehensively based on:
Selection should not be based solely on lowest purchase price, as low-quality equipment may result in higher operating costs, unstable performance, and increased maintenance requirements.
Select suppliers capable of providing comprehensive technical support, including:
Reliable after-sales service is essential for ensuring long-term, stable equipment operation.
