English: Active materials (cathode: LiCoO₂/LiFePO₄; anode: graphite), conductive agents, and binders (e.g., PVDF) are mixed with solvent (NMP or water) to form homogeneous slurry.
Coating
English: Slurry is uniformly coated onto metal current collectors (Al foil for cathode, Cu foil for anode) via coating machine, with controlled thickness and areal density.
Drying
Wet coating is dried in ovens to evaporate solvent, forming porous electrode structure.
Calendering
Dried electrodes are compressed by calendering rolls to enhance energy density and mechanical strength.
Slitting
Wide electrodes are slit into narrow strips matching cell dimensions.
Tab Welding
Metal tabs (Al for cathode, Ni for anode) are ultrasonically welded to current collectors.
Winding
