Non pressure passive direct solar water heater system for Peru
(1) Product Description
The passive solar water heater direct system solar water heater system "thermosiphon", in Peru we call it "termas solares" , is the simplest and dominates the market in Peru. There are several national companies that produce these passive solar water heater system with flat panels or equip them with vacuum tubes. Especially in Arequipa with its favorable radiation, there is already a 'culture' of using solar thermal baths. In this city it is estimated that more than 35,000 systems are installed.
There are passive solar water heater system sizes range from 60 liters to several thousand liters for family or for hotels. With a good finish and good materials (for example stainless steel) they can last more than 15 years with very little maintenance.
In recent years, the passive solar water heater systemr with vacuum tubes has become more and more popular in Peru, especially in some big cities, such as Puno, Juliaca, Arequipa, Cuszo.
