The Crawler Type Compost Turner is a self-propelled composting machine designed for the fermentation and turning of livestock and poultry manure, sludge waste, sugar mill filter mud, distiller’s grains, crop residues, and other organic waste materials. With a crawler-type chassis, the machine can move flexibly across the fermentation site without being restricted by fixed rails, making it suitable for organic fertilizer plants, sludge treatment facilities, horticultural farms, and mushroom cultivation plants.
The crawler compost turner combines turning, mixing, and aeration in one operation. During fermentation, the turning mechanism lifts and mixes the material while the crawler chassis moves forward, helping process the compost windrow continuously. Its turning width and processing capacity can be selected according to the scale of the production site.
The crawler chassis provides flexible movement and supports turning operations across different fermentation areas. The equipment does not require a fixed rail system, allowing easier adjustment of the working route and fermentation layout.
Different models provide turning widths from 2.5 m to 3.0 m, with turning heights ranging from 0.8–1.5 m. This configuration is suitable for processing relatively large compost windrows.
According to the model, processing capacity ranges from approximately 800–1,500 m³/h, providing options for different production requirements.
The equipment is available with engine power from 75 kW to 118.5 kW, including turbocharged diesel engine configurations. This allows users to select a suitable model according to material volume and working conditions.
The machine provides three forward gears and one reverse gear, with a working speed of 5–10 m/min. The turning mechanism operates at approximately 2,200 r/min according to the listed configurations.
