The Impeller Type Compost Turner is designed for large-span and deep turning operations in organic waste fermentation and composting. It is suitable for processing livestock manure, sludge, mushroom residue, sugar mill filter mud, traditional Chinese medicine residue, municipal sludge, and plant straw. The machine is widely used in organic fertilizer plants, compound fertilizer factories, livestock farms, sludge treatment facilities, and horticultural composting sites.
The equipment adopts a chain-driven structure with large-diameter turning impellers. During operation, the impellers continuously turn and mix the fermentation materials, helping improve material aeration and promote more uniform fermentation. Its large working span and deep turning capability make it suitable for large fermentation areas where conventional compost turners may have limited working coverage.
The machine is designed for wide fermentation beds, with a maximum turning span of up to 30 m. The working span can be designed according to the actual production site, helping make better use of available fermentation space while reducing construction and equipment layout requirements.
The turning depth can reach approximately 1.5–2 m, allowing the impellers to process deeper material layers. This helps improve mixing and aeration throughout the compost pile during fermentation.
A middle-chain transmission system drives the large-diameter impellers to perform continuous turning operations. The structure is designed for large-scale composting applications and supports stable material movement during operation.
According to different transmission structures and operating requirements, the equipment can be configured as a fixed-height horizontal impeller compost turner or a hydraulic lifting impeller compost turner. This provides flexibility for different fermentation plant layouts and working conditions.
