The NVIDIA MCP4Y10-N002 is a high-performance OSFP (Octal Small Form-factor Pluggable) to OSFP passive direct attach copper cable (DAC). Designed for 800Gb/s twin-port InfiniBand NDR (Next Data Rate) and 800GbE Ethernet applications, this cable provides a cost-effective, ultra-low latency, and near-zero power consumption interconnect solution for data center networks.
Each cable contains eight high-speed copper pairs operating at 100Gb/s per lane using PAM4 modulation, delivering an aggregate bandwidth of 800Gb/s per port (2x400Gb/s twin-port configuration). The 2-meter length uses 26AWG wire gauge and features finned-top connectors for optimal thermal performance in high-density switch environments.
