A waste oil storage system built around a Lipp tank gives a closed, corrosion-resistant store for used oil that meets EPA and local rules. The shell is galvanized steel or clad steel, with a corrugated wall for strength, so it stands outside in harsh duty without leaking.
The shell is one continuous spiral wall, so there are no bolted seams to weep, and a second seam backs it up for hazardous waste oil. That dual line of defence keeps the used oil contained and the site clear of spills, which is what a leak-prone stream like waste oil needs in daily service.
Waste oil is a listed hazardous stream. A leak can foul soil and water and break the operating permit, so the store must hold up under inspection. A dual-seam, lined Lipp tank meets the standards set by the Environmental Protection Agency and local environmental rules, giving the plant a store it can stand behind.
Galvanized or clad steel shell
The wall is galvanized steel or clad steel with SS304 or 316L bonded to galvanized steel. The corrugated form adds stiffness, so the tank takes outdoor weather and harsh duty without a concrete vault.

A Lipp tank is durable and leak-proof, resists corrosion and is built to size. Its shell is one continuous spiral wall with no bolted seams, so there is no seam line to leak from, unlike a welded steel tank.
