The TB 20110 thermostatic bimetal strip is a high-sensitivity composite material engineered by Huona for precision temperature sensing and control applications. It consists of a high-expansion manganese-based alloy layer (Mn75Ni15Cu10) metallurgically bonded to a low-expansion Ni36Fe Invar alloy layer. When subjected to temperature changes, the differential thermal expansion between the two layers causes the strip to bend predictably and repeatably, making it an ideal actuating element for thermal protection devices.
